Jake is enormously grateful to the residents of Somerville for electing him to be their Chief Executive. He takes this responsibility seriously, and is committed to ensuring a smooth and transparent transition in order to prepare for a productive and impactful first term as Mayor.

Jake has assembled a transition team to advise and support on policy development, hiring efforts, and the overall transition between administrations. This transition team will reflect community leaders and experts, to ensure that administrative planning is informed by collaborative engagement.
